The problem
Parents in India get pregnancy and baby advice from forwards, relatives and sites written for other countries. littlehugs set out to be the trusted alternative — evidence-based guidance, reviewed by doctors and written for Indian families. That meant medical review had to be part of how the platform publishes, not a promise in the footer.
Our approach
We've worked with littlehugs since discovery in 2025: shaping what the product covers, designing it, and building a content platform with a medical-review workflow at its centre. We maintain it as the team prepares for launch.
Key decisions
Review is part of publishing
Articles move through a medical-review step before they can be published, so 'doctor-reviewed' is something the platform guarantees rather than something the copy claims.
Built for India, not translated
Alongside pregnancy, newborn care, growth and nutrition, the platform covers what imported advice skips — like the government schemes Indian families can actually use.
A careful public face before launch
While the platform is built out, a calm coming-soon page sets the tone — evidence, not opinions — and carries the medical disclaimer from day one.
